Cheesy Spanish Rice #MexicanRecipes

Spanish Rice Recipe
Two types of  Cheeses, Green Chiles, and Spanish Rice are just some of the goodness that goes into this simply divine Spanish Rice bake. It feeds a crowd and is perfect along side tacos, enchiladas or any Mexican or Hispanic dish you serve up , and will have your guests coming back for seconds, and thirds, till the dish is empty.

My husbands very first bite of this dish, had him hooked, he LOVES it. I promise that this recipe is a keeper and you can take it to a potluck with confidence! With quality ingredients, you can't go wrong!

Jan's Tip: This recipe calls for pre-made Spanish Rice. I used 2 pouches of Knorr brand Spanish Rice packets to make this dish. I have my own Spanish Rice master mix recipe on  this website, but was completely out when I went to go make it. So either one will do just fine!

Layers of creamy spicy rice, queso fresco cheese, cheddar -jack cheese, and diced green chiles just blend into a savory, creamy, cheesy side dish that equals to any entree it is served with .

  1. It does make a gorgeous side dish but I think it would serve equally as well for a Meatless entree.
