Roasty Toasty Cheese Dip

This easy to make, warm, cheesy, creamy dip is quite addicting! Not only that, it has ingredients you already have on hand at home, so no rushing to the store when you need to whip up something on the fly!

Just slice up some french bread baguette slices or a box of crackers, you'll have people coming back for more and more!

Roasty Toasty Cheese Dip, a reader named this dip for me when I asked for ideas, so thanks to all of you for pitching in!

Jan's Dip Tip:  If you can, bake and serve warm dips in cast iron skillets. It retains heat for a long time. Also, everyone loves food from a cast iron skillet! It just looks great, and they will automatically know this is a good one! Presentation is everything, right?

Jan's Tweeks: ok, so I am giving you the original recipe below. It was adapted by my local newspaper from  whiteonricecouple.com. I did even put in a few additions of my own: I added in 2 teaspoons granulated garlic (not garlic salt), and 1 Tablespoon italian seasoning.
