    Jan, when the weather heats up, I come to rely on the toaster oven. I bake the dessert, like this rhubarb crumble, in a loaf dish alongside a meatloaf or other main dish in another loaf dish or 8x8x2 dish. Get it all done at once without heating up the "big" oven. If it's even too hot for that, I can move my toaster oven out on the covered patio next to the kitchen!
