Peanut Butter Banana Protein Snack Dip

This delicious dip made from yogurt, banana and peanut butter is the perfect  protein packed treat to pair with some whole grain pretzels or apple slices, or celery, for a fun after school snack, or even to pack into a lunch box!

I got the recipe from my local paper, and love that it takes just a minute to mix together, and tastes wonderful, yet is a more healthy dip compared to the sugar filled options sometimes surrounding us. I love that you can use this for a quick afternoon pick me up, or an easy and fun lunch option once in a while.

Peanut Butter Banana Proten Snack

  • 1/2 ripe banana
  • 3/4 cup vanilla yogurt-low fat
  • 3 Tablespoons creamy peanut butter
Peel banana, place in serving bowl and mash with a fork until smooth.
Add in yogurt and peanut butter, and stir until well combined.
Keep chilled till serving. Serve with Pretzels, Apple Slices, Celery sticks, or Graham Crackers.

1 cup:  (4 quarter cup servings)
