As always, all opinions are my own.

Country Fried Apples are a wonderful side dish or dessert that are a staple in many a southern or country homes. Sweet Apples cooked with a buttery, caramel glaze.

If you've never made them or had them before, well, this is your time to try! They are a wonderful comfort food that are a must have on your fall and winter to do list!

I love to cook mine up to serve along side my old fashioned country sausage gravy over biscuits. They just go together, the salty, savory gravy along side the sweet apples. So comforting, and no complaints from the family when it lands on the table. and in individual cast iron skillets? (yes, I have enough of those little things).. It just makes the experience, so... Memorable!

Envy Brand Apples are the perfect apples for this recipe. Sweet, Crisp, and perfect for both eating and baking! They really hold up well in this pie and do not "Mush up" to much in the baking process. I mean, who wants to slice into an "applesauce" pie?

Zyliss Brand Cookeware, Cutlery, and Kitchen Gadgets: Zyliss kitchen tools are innovative in their designs making cooking simple and efficient but honestly, just smart and fun too! My daughter is trying to "steal" my apple corer! I have to keep it under lock and key I think! and that comfort utility knife with it's blade guard?  um favorite knife now!
