Sweet and Spicy Maple Pecans

Sweet and Spicy Maple Pecans have that wonderful glaze of both sweet and a tiny bit spicy. The sweet side is a lovely maple and honey blend with touches of cinnamon and sea salt. The Heat is subtle (unless you want it bold) and hits you on the back end of the bite with just a tiny kick. even the mild lovers usually love these!

These pecans are a quick and easy to make appetizer for a holiday party or while the college bowls games are on. They also make the perfect last minute holiday gift to make for neighbor, coworkers, and friends!  We love pecans, but you can use any blend of nuts, even a can of mixed nuts works!

They only take a few ingredients, and you probably have most of them on hand. I do recommend using real maple syrup if you can. It makes a huge difference in the taste and quality of the glaze. But I always have maple flavoring on hand, since I make my own pancake syrup, and so you can always add just a drop or two into your glaze if you use a maple flavored syrup.

Lets get cooking!
