Tip Garden's Story:

"Slow cooked, from scratch, homemade". Although these are things I love, they do not always resemble my life! If these words do NOT describe your life on a normal, everyday, basis, I totally understand! 

As a busy woman  with 2 jobs outside the home plus running 2 blogs I have been through more drive-thru's for dinner than I care to admit, I don't always have time for "a totally from scratch, homemade" life!  

 Here at Tip Garden I will show you great ways to find that balance, with tons of time and money saving shortcuts and tips you can feel good about, so you can spend more time with the people and things you love most!

I can't wait to share some great time and money saving tips with you!

Jan's Story:

I'm a mid western girl from both the Colorado Rockies and rural farms of Kansas, and am just a country girl at heart. I married a California boy and we landed in a big east coast suburb in Virginia where 3 children have escaped the nest and settled down.  Five grand babies come scampering back to visit. Life doesn't seem to be slowing down all that much yet.

I have been blessed to have many friends and family share lessons of thrift, hard-work, saving money, and spending  time and energy on the most important things in life, and now is my chance to share their lessons with you!

Family is my passion...and so is sleep!

My day often starts at 2 a.m. and ends sometimes late in the evening, so sleep is my hobby. I love sleep.
